I thought it would be nice to talk to someone who is going through the same thing. I would first like to say that I grew up in OC and I read that is where you met your husband. Great place!
I was diagnosed 4 1/2 years ago with Oli grade 11 in my right temporal lobe and it is also infiltrated. Unlike what your doctor has told you, mine have stated that grade 11 is not cancer. I have questioned this numerous times based on the research I have done. At this point they have performed a biopsy and are choosing to simply monitor the tumor. I guess this is a good thing for now.
You keep up the good work and the positive attitude. You are an inspiration for those going through the same situation. Your family should be very proud of you!!!!!

Jayne, it seems we have a lot in common! How did you find out about me? It's too big of a coincidence that my best friend lives in Elkton too and she and I grew up in Oxford. How odd that you are from Ocean City! Where did you have your diagnosis done? That's odd that they say type II isn't cancer. All my doctors say it is cancerous though it is relatively slow growing.
